Gene Simmons Reveals New Song Titles

Gene Simmons has made an interview with The Canadian Press where he reveals the following titles on the upcoming Kiss album: "Russian Roulette", "Modern Day Delilah" and "Stand".
Gene also mentions that they will unveil new outfits for the upcoming tour!

Gene Simmons And Nick To Do Signing Session

The comic book company Radical Publishing - who will release Nick Simmons' debut comic book Incarnate in late July - announces that both Nick and Gene Simmons will do a signing session at the San Diego Comic-Con International. The signing sessions will take place at these times:

Thursday July 23rd
3:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.

Friday July 24th
2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.

Saturday July 25th
1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M.

Gene Simmons will also take part in a jam session at the Hard Rock (more details tba).

30 Year Anniversary Of The Largo Show

Today (July 8th) it's 30 years since the classic Kiss concert in Largo, MD. This show was professionaly filmed and I believe every Kiss fan has seen this. This show was included as one of the bonuses on Kissology Volume II. Here's two great clips from this historical concert:

Paul Stanley's Comment On The Upcoming Kiss Album

We were all waiting for the official comment from Paul Stanley regarding the new album and now it's here. Paul is even more enthusiastic than the others and that says a lot! Just look at what he has got to say about Gene:
I've never seen Gene more selfless (yes...Gene!), focused or harder working. His bass playing, songs and overall contribution help to make this the album you've wanted for so long. Without his spirit, this wouldn't have been possible.

1973 Kiss Poster On Ebay

August 10th 1973 Kiss played at Hotel Diplomat in New York. A poster from this historic event is now available on Ebay. It looks like it's a genuine item. The seller claims he bought it from Marilyn Manson guitarist John 5 who bought it at the Kiss Auction in 2000. Gene Simmons Stopped By Cop

The entertainment website Exposay has posted 20 pictures of Gene Simmons where he gets stopped and searhed by a policeman in Beverly Hills. According to Exposay this is an off duty cop. I would say it's a big chance that this is a part of Family Jewels. Tommy Thayer Comments On The New Kiss Album

After the last day's comments from Gene and Eric regarding the new album, it's now time for Tommy to let everyone what he has to say at Kissonline. Just as the other band members, he is extremely enthusiastic about the album. Tommy had for example this to say:
Paul has done a fantastic job keeping everyone in line and the direction clear. As you might have heard, all the tunes were written within the band and recorded analog -- which means hot, heavy and rockin' in the classic sense.
Tommy also mentions that Kiss played some of the new songs during the soundcheck of the Milwaukee show last week.

Eric Singer Comments On The Upcoming Kiss Album

Kissonline has posted an update from Eric Singer regarding the new album. He mentions things like we already knew, such as all four members singing lead, no ballads and Paul producing the album. But he also mentions that this is the most fun and pleasure he ever has had recording an album.
One interesting detail is that Eric in a passage about the producing calls Paul Stanley "the leader":
Paul took the reigns and headed up the project like the leader that he has been for over 35 years but, this time with a renewed, inspired and very patient style (he is a great dad after all). He really knew what he wanted from each of us individually and collectively.

Rumor has it that after the release of "Anomaly", Ace Frehley will release an instructional DVD. Appearantly other musicians are also involved in this project and names like Matt Sorum and John 5 have been mentioned.

Gene Simmons Issues Update About Upcoming Kiss Album

Gene Simmons has posted an update on Kissonline regarding the upcoming album. Gene mentions that one of the eleven songs will be re-arranged and after this is done the mixing will start. Gene also has this amazing comment: Maybe the best record we've done in 30 years.
