Almost All Rock'N'Roll Allstars Shows Cancelled

All Rock'N'Roll Allstars shows except the one in Lima, Peru have now been cancelled. The band has issued the following statement:

"Rock 'N' Roll Allstars regret to inform our fans that the shows we had scheduled in Ecuador, Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala and Venezuela have been cancelled. An incredible effort was made to work with local promoters to bring our show to the fans but they made it impossible for us to do so. We are saddened that we will not be coming to Central America and will do everything possible to ensure that our fans receive refunds for all tickets purchased. We are in South America and just had amazing shows in Paraguay and Argentina where thousands of fans came to hear the hits of Guns N' Roses, Kiss, Def Leppard and more. The show in Lima, Peru [on April 27 at Jockey Club] is still on sale and the band is still playing this show. Thank you for your support and we hope to see each and every one of you soon."

Rock And Roll Allstars In Paraguay

Yesterday (April 19th) Rock And Roll Allstars did the first show on their South American tour. This took place in Asuncion, Paraguay.

Rock And Roll All Stars Show Cancelled

The Costa Rican newspaper Tico Times reports that the upcoming Rock And Roll Allstars in Costa Rica has been cancelled. This was supposed to take place May 3rd. The reason is said to be that some of the stars has pulled out from the project. Read more here.

Update About Rock N Roll Allstars

As mentioned here before, Gene Simmons will join Matt Sorum, Sebastian Bach, Joe Elliott, Glenn Hughes etc for a South American tour under the name Rock N Roll Allstars. Yesterday a press conference took place in Los Angeles where the tour was made official.

Long day. Press Conference announcing I headline Rock And Roll All Stars tour of 10 South & Central American countries. More news soon.

There are also rumors about the tour coming to North America and Europe later on.

Gene Simmons In All-Star Band

A lot of rumours have been floating around the last week about Gene Simmons taking part in an all-star tour of South America. It is now confirmed that Gene is one of the stars in The Rock'N'Allstars who will do a South and Central American tour in April and May. Other stars include Joe Elliott, Duff McKagan, Sebastian Bach, Matt Sorum and Glenn Hughes. On Thursday (March 1st) a press conference will take place in Los Angeles where more details will be announced.
