More Details About The Singles Box Set

As mentioned here before, a great box set called "Casablanca Singles Box Set" will be released in late November. Some new details have now surfaced. The box set will be limited to 2500 copies. It will feature the paper masks from the solo albums. The official release date is November 30th.

For the second year in a row, Ace Frehley has cancelled his performance at Hard Rock Hell Festival in Wales. No official reason has been given but the festival has made this announcement:

Kiss To Sweden In June

The first Kiss shows of the summer of 2013 are now official. Kiss will come to Sweden for two shows in early June:

June 1st: Stockholm - Friends Arena
June 6th: Sölvesborg - Sweden Rock Festival

Tickets to the Stockholm show will be released October 12th through Ticnet.

Ace Frehley On The Passing Of Paul's Mother

Ace Frehley has posted the following statement on his official webpage:

"I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Paul Stanley's mother Eva. She always had a smile on her face at the Kiss shows she attended in New York and was always very gracious to me and my family when we'd meet backstage before and after concerts…My deepest sympathy goes out to Paul and his family…God Bless..."

Monster Parties In Oslo And Gothenburg

Paul's Mother Has Passed Away

The following statement has been published on the official sites of Kiss and Paul Stanley:

Eva Eisen, Paul Stanley's mother, died Saturday, Sept. 29th. She was 88 years old. Paul writes, "My mother found so much pleasure and fulfillment in all the various types of music that she so loved. It was through her that I too found that same passion. She lived long enough to see, enjoy and love an extended family that included her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She found numerous ways to contribute to her community and was appreciated and loved by those who knew her. My mom was the matriarch of our family and words cannot express our loss."
From the earliest days of KISS until recently, Eva was always seen by fans at New York area shows. We send our sympathy and condolences to Paul and his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
