Almost All Rock'N'Roll Allstars Shows Cancelled

All Rock'N'Roll Allstars shows except the one in Lima, Peru have now been cancelled. The band has issued the following statement:

"Rock 'N' Roll Allstars regret to inform our fans that the shows we had scheduled in Ecuador, Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala and Venezuela have been cancelled. An incredible effort was made to work with local promoters to bring our show to the fans but they made it impossible for us to do so. We are saddened that we will not be coming to Central America and will do everything possible to ensure that our fans receive refunds for all tickets purchased. We are in South America and just had amazing shows in Paraguay and Argentina where thousands of fans came to hear the hits of Guns N' Roses, Kiss, Def Leppard and more. The show in Lima, Peru [on April 27 at Jockey Club] is still on sale and the band is still playing this show. Thank you for your support and we hope to see each and every one of you soon."

Kiss To Play In London In July?

There are some internet rumours claiming that Kiss will perform at the HMV Forum in London July 4th. This would be as an apology for the cancelled Sonisphere Festival performance. Two years ago Kiss played at the tiny Islington Academy in London. HMV Forum has got a capacity of 2100 so it's bigger than Islington Academy but still a club.
Please note that this should still be considered a rumour.

Yesterday (April 19th) Rock And Roll Allstars did the first show on their South American tour. This took place in Asuncion, Paraguay.

Kissonline has revealed that the first issue of the new Kiss comics will come in four different covers. The release will happen in late June.

Gene Simmons To Play Elvis In New Film?

The Examiner reports that Gene Simmons is in the running to play Elvis Presley in an upcoming movie called "Elvis Came Back To Manage Me". The film writer, who has reportedly sent the script to Gene, says the following:

"I’m hoping Gene will read the script and get sufficiently excited about the project to justify his involvement.”
