Support Act For The Summer Tour Confirmed

It is now confirmed that the English rock band The Treatment will be the opening act on the Kiss / Motley Crue tour this summer.

Sonisphere UK Cancelled

The only Kiss summer show in Europe this year was supposed to be the headline slot at the UK edition of Sonisphere Festival. Today it is confirmed that the entire festival is cancelled. The promoter has issued a statement saying the following:

Unfortunately circumstances have dictated that we would be unable to run the festival to a standard that both the artists and that Sonisphere’s audience would rightly expect.

Ticket holders will be automatically refunded.

Rock N Roll All Nite On Swedish TV

In yesterday's final of the Swedish TV talent show "The Voice" the contestant Micke "Mojo" Nilsson performed a version of "Rock N Roll All Nite" together with the Swedish pop star Ola Salo from the band The Ark. Check this out below.

Kiss And Motley Crue Tour Announced

As mentioned here before, Kiss will do a co-headline tour with Motley Crue all over the US and Canada during the summer. The premiere takes place July 20th in Bristow, VA and the last show will be in Hartford, CT on September 23rd.
Tickets will be released March 23rd to the public but already March 21st at 10 AM tickets will be released to Kiss Army members. If you aren’t a member yet, then go here.

Kissonline reveals today that a giant-sized "Monster" book will be released this summer. This will be a limited edition. Kissonline also has published this photo of Tommy looking at the proofs and as you can se it will be a huge book.

Kiss To Perform In New Orleans

It is now confirmed that Kiss will perform a free concert at the Woldenberg Park in New Orleans March 30th. This is the weekend of the NCAA Men's Final Four.

Kiss To Tour With Motley Crue In The Summer?

Motley Crue's Vince Neil has been interviewed by The Las Vegas Sun and in the interview he mentions that the Crue and Kiss will do a co-headlining tour all over the US from July to September. Vince quoted saying the following:

“It’s going to be really cool because KISS is bringing their full stage show, and Motley will be bringing our full stage show, so you are going to see two huge headliners at the same time. It’s going to be one of the biggest tours of the summer, if not the biggest.”

Kiss are said to perform at Jimmy Kimmel Live next Tuesday (March 20th). This will probably be the world premiere of material from the upcoming "Monster" album.

Nirvana's Van For Sale

The Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain was a big Kiss fan. He even drew a Kiss mural on the side of the band's van with sharpies he had shoplifted. This van, which also was used by The Melvins, is now up for sale at Ebay. Check it out here.

Crazy Crazy Nights On Swedish TV

The talent show "The Voice" on Swedish national TV channel TV4 included a version of the Kiss hit "Crazy Crazy Nights" last Friday (March 2nd). This was performed by Christian Hedgren. The version can be seen below. Christian went on to the next round of the competition.

Update About Rock N Roll Allstars

As mentioned here before, Gene Simmons will join Matt Sorum, Sebastian Bach, Joe Elliott, Glenn Hughes etc for a South American tour under the name Rock N Roll Allstars. Yesterday a press conference took place in Los Angeles where the tour was made official.
Gene later published this Tweet:

Long day. Press Conference announcing I headline Rock And Roll All Stars tour of 10 South & Central American countries. More news soon.

There are also rumors about the tour coming to North America and Europe later on.
