A few nights ago, Nick, Soph, Shannon, Emily Fields, myself and a host of others piled into two cars and went to see Taylor Swift at Staples, LA. A terrific show.

European Kiss Expos Coming Up

Three Kiss Expos have now been confirmed. The dates are the following:

November 25th: Madrid, Spain
November 26th: Helsinki, Finland
November 27th: Enschede, The Netherlands

Bruce Kulick and John Corabi will be the special guests in Spain and Finland. In Finland they will also be joined by Bob Kulick. In The Netherlands Eric Singer will be the special guest.

New Kiss Album Called Monster

It is now confirmed that the upcoming Kiss album will be called "Monster". Paul Stanley is quoted saying the following:

"We were all blown away by the unanimous raves from critics and fans for Sonic Boom. Anyone who thought that album was a lucky fluke is in for a brutal surprise. This album kills."

The album will be released next year.

Eight Tracks Recorded For Next Album

In a new interview with Classic Rock Magazine, Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons mention that eight out of total ten songs are recorded for the next Kiss album. Only vocals are still to be recorded. They also mention some song titles - "Hell Or Hallelujah", "Born To Be A Sinner", "Out Of This World", "Are You Ready?" and "Wall Of Sound".

Kiss Dropped From Michael Jackson Tribute

As reported here, Kiss were scheduled to perform at the Michael Jackson tribute concert in Wales in October. However, the event promoters have now changed their mind and Kiss are no longer welcome. Appearantly this has to do with Gene's comments about the allegations of Michael Jackson being a child molester. Read more here and here.

Kiss On Upcoming Michael Jackson Tribute Concert

CNN reports that Kiss are confirmed as one of the acts on the upcoming Michael Jackson tribute concert which will take place in Cardiff, Wales October 8th. Other artists include Christina Aguilera, Smokey Robinson and Alien Ant Farm. Kiss is not yet mentioned on the official website (www.michaelforevertribute.com).

During the fifth anniversary celebrations of Kiss Coffeehouse in South Carolina the day before yesterday, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer revealed that a new Kiss Coffeehouse will open in Las Vegas next year. No more information is available now.

Went on a hike with Miss Tweed, Snippy & Lucky. Then b'kfast. We then were caught in the parking lot by a nice group of papparrazi.

23 Kiss Tracks Among World's Best Songs

The Swedish rock radio station Rockklassiker has made a survey about the world's 666 best rock songs. Kiss had as many as 23 songs in the list. They were only beaten by AC/DC who had 28 songs in the list.
The highest Kiss entry was "Lick It Up" at 7th place. The other 22 tracks include the obvious ones such as "Detroit Rock City" and "Rock'N'Roll All Nite" but also songs like "2000 Man" and "Mr Speed". More News About Kiss Mini Golf

As mentioned here before, a Kiss mini golf course will open in Las Vegas in the autumn. Kissonline has now revealed this picture of the entrance. According to Monster Mini Golf's own site, the opening of the mini golf course is scheduled to November/December. The information text contains the following:

The custom-designed, frightfully fun course will feature animated KISS and monster props lurking in all 18 fairways. A live DJ will rock the raucous house with continuous KISS music, trivia, contests, and prizes. A gift shop will offer unique KISS and Monster souvenirs. And for party monsters, one-of-a-kind KISS themed event rooms will host KISS and monster-themed parties, events and wedding celebrations.

New Official Kiss Book Released Next Summer

According to Hollywood Reporter, next summer will see the release of the new offical Kiss book "Nothin' To Lose". This book will cover the period from the band's formation in 1973 until the release of "Alive!" in 1975. The book will be co-written by Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley and the rock journalist Ken Sharp.
