More Ace Frehley European Dates

Right now more dates on Ace Frehley's European tour are being booked. Dates in Scandinavia and Germany will soon be announced.

Ace Frehley UK Tour Dates Confirmed

The following Ace Frehley shows are now confirmed:

December 1st: The Coal Exchange, Cardiff, Wales
December 3rd: Hard Rock Hell Festival, Pontins Prestatyn, Wales
December 4th: Islington Academy, London, England

Islington Academy is the venue where Kiss did their club show a year ago.

Gene Simmons Family Jewels

Yesterday (June 28th) the latest episode of Gene Simmons Family Jewels was broadcasted. This is the episode where Gene for the first time visits Israel since he left the country as a little boy. As usual, Gene tweeted during the broadcast, here's some of the most interesting tweets:

New Kiss Related Book Released

If you were a teenager in Sweden during the 1980s – just as I was – then you have a strong relationship to the OKEJ magazine. In these days, obviously long before internet, magazines were the only way to get hold of information about your favourite artists. And if you were into hard rock then there wasn’t much choice over here besides the OKEJ magazine. As a Kiss fan it was a joy to read the magazine since almost every issue had some smaller or larger Kiss feature. The editor of this magazine was Anders Tengner. He is an old Kiss fan and over the years he has developed a close relationship to many of the bands he’s interviewed, and not least Kiss. His memoir book ”Access All Areas” has now been released. Perhaps memoir isn’t the correct word, it’s more a book with stories about some of the bands he’s met. There is one chapter for each of the bands and most interesting for us Kiss fans is obviously the Kiss chapter. This is consists of 69 pages and it’s filled with funny and interesting stories. Anders has met the band members many times and it’s very interesting to read about this. Ace’s first interview after he left the band (the first time) was made by Anders. This took place in Ace’s apartment in Manhattan in 1985. Anders also did an interview with Peter Criss in 1985 and almost the entire interview is published in the book. You can also find cool stories about video shoots with Kiss and much more.
I’m not going to say that this is the most well-written book I have read but it’s very interesting for any Kiss fan. The book is only available in Swedish but even if you can’t read Swedish it’s still a good buy. There’s also 16 exclusive Kiss photos published in the book.

Vinnie Vincent Ordered To Anger Management Course

Nashville Scene reports that Vinnie Vincent has been ordered by the state of Tennessee to attend eight hours of anger-management therapy. This will temporarily retire the case for a year. The pre-trial agreement can be seen above. Read more here.

All Songs To New Kiss Album Written

The Toronto Sun yesterday published an interview with Gene Simmons. He speaks about his success story but also about the upcoming Kiss album. Gene is quoted saying the following:

We have all the songs arranged and written and all that. Like Sonic Boom, all the songs were written by the band. Paul is producing this one too. The first day in the studio, we cut two songs. So we're steaming ahead, not thinking too much about it.

A couple of hours ago A&E showed the season premiere of Gene Simmons Family Jewels. As we all could see on the teasers, much focus was on the relationship between Gene and Shannon.
During the last hours, Gene has posted 84 (!) posts on his Twitter page about the show. The comments are usually like this one:

Earlier today (June 14th) CNN showed this interview with Paul Stanley where he talks about him being born with Level 3 Microtia which virtually makes him deaf on his right ear.

Tonight (June 14th) sees the season premiere of Gene Simmons Family Jewels. Before the premiere there have been a lot of rumors about Gene's and Shannon's relation. Check out their appearance at "Kathie Lee and Hoda" yesterday below. Considering Gene's business skills I wouldn't be surprised if this is all about raising interest for the TV show.

Sonic Boom 8th Best Album Of Last Ten Years
