Kiss To Indonesia?

There are some internet rumours saying that Kiss will do a show in Indonesia in the fall. The rumours about the Japanese shows were true so this doesn't sound too unlikeley. Please note that this is a just a rumour so far.

Kiss To Japan In April

There have been some rumours about Kiss going to Japan in the spring. Now it's confirmed that they will play seven shows in April. The dates are the following:

April 13 - Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture Gymnasium
April 14 - Yokohama, Pacifico Yokohama
April 17 - Saitama, Saitama Super Arena
April 18 - Kobe, World Hall
April 20 - Tokyo, Budokan
April 21 - Tokyo, Budokan
April 23 - Sapporo, Makomanai Sekisui Heim Ice Arena

Tickets will be released March 12th.

Eric Singer Project Meet And Greet

At the upcoming Eric Singer Project shows in Prague and Pratteln there will be a special meet and greet ticket for sale. The price is about € 70 and a one hour meet and greet with photo opportunity as well as watching the soundcheck.

Spanish Kiss Poster Special

The Spanish edition of Metal Hammer Spain is this week publishing a Kiss Poster Special. This will feature photos from the 2010 tour. The magazine is available in the Spanish newsstands from today.

Next Signing To Simmons Records?

The Canadian newspaper The Intelligencer reports that Gene Simmons and Simmons Records have made an offer to the Canadian vocalist Emily Fennell. Read more here.

Peter Criss Has Got A New Cat

Kiss Asylum reports that Peter Criss has announced the cat Fanny Lee Criss as the newest member to the Criss household. Peter is quoted saying the following:

I haven't had a cat in years - saw her at a shelter and fell in love with her, we speak the same language . She loves playing peek-a-boo, she has stolen my heart !!! God Bless.

March 19th is the date for the upcoming Indianapolis Kiss Fan Expo. This takes place at the Marriott East in Indianapolis. Eric Singer and John Corabi are confirmed as guests. Ace Frehley To Perform In Tampa

March 11th Ace Frehley will perform after the ice hockey game between Tampa Bay Lightning and Ottawa Senators in Tampa, Florida. The show will be held outdoors immediately following the game.

Eric Singer Project Touring Europe

It is now confirmed that Eric Singer Project's tour of Europe only will consist of six shows. They will play in Helsinki, Finland March 27th and at a Kiss Convention in Honefoss, Norway the day before. April 2nd they will perform in Austria. The other three dates will be announced soon.

Gene Simmons Meets Fangoria's Editor

As reported here earlier, Fangoria Magazine published a special Kiss issue last year with a really nice Gene cover. Last week Chris Alexander, the editor of Fangoria Magazine, met Gene Simmons in Toronto. Chris has been kind enough to send Kiss On Fire an exclusive report of this meeting. This is what Chris has to say:

Gene and KISS were my gateways at a very early age to horror, monsters and bizarre and outlandish forms of pop culture. And no matter how my life has changed since I first saw The Demon with his fanged head back on the cover of LOVE GUN at age 3, KISS and horror movies have always remained a constant. That's why it's such a joy to be able to have put Gene on the cover of FANGORIA #298 and to give back some of that love and admiration in print for other horror geeks to enjoy and hopefully be inspired by anew. It's also a bit surreal to have become friendly with The Demon in the months following our FANGORIA interview and to have been able to catch up with him during his recent trip to my hometown, Toronto during advertising week. His presentation was a mixture of controlled, high minded lecture about succeeding against the odds and an out of control rock and roll chaos...a blend that pretty much defines the man's persona in a nutshell, controlled yet somewhat unhinged. Peter Criss' Memoirs Coming In The Fall

There has been talk for a long time about Peter Criss writing his memoirs. The publisher Scribner announced yesterday (February 1st) that the book will be called "Makeup to Breakup" and that it will be released in the fall this year.
