Kiss Ice Cream Wrapper On Ebay

The Australian Kiss ice creams from 1980 is one of the nicest Kiss products ever produced. For obvious reasons, you never find the actual ice cream for sale. But once in a while the ice cream wrapper is available. A wrapper in original condition is now up for auction at Ebay. Check it out here:

38 Years Ago Today

Today (January 31st) is an important day in Kiss history. This very day 38 years ago Kiss performed their very first show at The Coventry in Queens, New York.

As reported earlier, Gene Simmons was honored by the Dallas city leaders a street named "Gene Simmons Boulevard". A few hours ago, Gene posted this comment on his Twitter page:

Shocked to learn from the city of Dallas, Texas that I have been honored with my own street -- Gene Simmons Boulevard. !!! Amazing.

Gene Simmons Receives The Key To Dallas

On Friday (January 28th) Gene Simmons received the key to Dallas from the city leaders. Gene was also honored with Gene Simmons Blvd. Watch footage from the local TV station WFAA here.

It is now confirmed that Kiss will perform at Coliseo de Puerto Rico in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico March 12th.

Tommy Thayer Mentions New Kiss Album

Backstage Axxess has made a new interview with Tommy Thayer where he mentions that a new Kiss album will be recorded during the spring.
Tommy is quoted saying the following:
“The great news is that we are going in the studio again in the next month or two". He also mentions that the album will be produced by Paul Stanley.

Arnold Schwarzenegger held a keynote speech at Toronto's Sony Centre the day after Gene Simmons held his speech. Gene has now posted a picture on his Twitter page of them meeting each other. Gene also posted this comment:

Kiss Show In Florida Added

It is now confirmed that Kiss will perform at Hard Rock Live at The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida March 17th. Tickets will be released Thursday (January 27th). Fan club members can buy tickets today (January 25th).

Eric Singer On New Kuni Album

January 20nd sees the Japanese release of the new album with the Japanese guitarist Kuni Takeuchi and his band KUNI. The album will be released in the US February 1st. Eric Singer is featured as the guest drummer. Other guests include John Corabi, Gilby Clarke and Billy Sheehan. The album can now be pre-ordered at Amazon.
