The box set with all 42 live recordings from the Kiss Alive 35 tour might be a bit much. Now a Best Of CD from these recordings has been released. This CD features 27 tracks recorded in 21 different locations.
Yesterday (December 21st) Gene Simmons and Eric Singer visited the Boys and Girls Club of the Foothills in Monrovia, California. Both Gene Simmons and Ace Frehley will attend the annual NAMM show in Anaheim, California January 14th-17th. NAMM stands for The National Association of Music Merchants and the NAMM show is the most important trade event in the music business. Other attendees include Eddie Van Halen and Nikki Sixx.
As reported earlier, Ace Frehley's upcoming DVD "Behind The Player" will be released in January. It is now confirmed that Seasons Of Mist will take care of the European distribution. The DVD can be pre-ordered here:

Deuce News reports that Bruce Kulick will release the single "Hand Of The King" January 12th. This track features Nick Simmons on vocals. The album will be released January 29th.

As mentioned here earlier, a guitar signed by Ace Frehley is up for auction at a charity auction held by Swedish National Radio supporing the fight against malaria. However, this is not a guitar previously owned by Ace Frehley as reported earlier. This is an acoustic guitar that Ace Frehley signed during his visit to Sweden earlier this month. Later today (December 16th) a guitar previously owned by Ace Frehley will be available at a charity auction held by Swedish national radio in support of the fight against malaria. More details will be available later here and here.
Kiss was one of the nominees for the induction to Rock And Hall Of Fame 2010. However, they did not make it this time. The inductees for 2010 are the following:
January 19th sees the release of the new Ace Frehley DVD called "Behind The Player". This is an instructional DVD where Ace shows how to play songs like "Shock Me" and "Cold Gin". Behind-the-scenes footage will also be included. The DVD can be ordered here: Behind the Player
The Kiss show this Tuesday (December 15th) in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada will not take place as scheduled. The show will be postponed to the summer of 2010. The reason for the cancellation is the severe weather conditions.
As mentioned here before, Gene Simmons plays the role of a lawyer in the new movie "Extract", directed by Mike Judge. A new interview with Mike Judge can be found here. Mike reveals that he didn't think that many people would recognize Gene without makeup...

Kiss had a busy day in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Besides the show they visited the middle school and they did a free signing session at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Tulsa World has done a story about this which you can find here.

Tulsa World reports that today (December 9th) Kiss will hold a press conference at the Tulsa Hard Rock Hotel And Casino. This will be open for everyone and it's free entrance. After the press conference, Kiss will stay for a signing session. Read more here.
The well-known photographer Neil Zlozower has recently released a new book called "Six-String Heroes". 150 of the world's greatest guitar players are featured in this book and one of them is Bruce Kulick.

Walmart has produced this really nice inhouse promo for the "Sonic Boom" campaign. It's a great concept to have the Kiss members act as Walmart employees.

I attended the Ace Frehley show yesterday (December 6th) at Trädgårn in Gothenburg, Sweden. The venue was almost sold out (1000 persons). I must say Ace was in very good shape and the show was absolutely brilliant. The highlights were "Rock Soldiers" and the final song which was "Cold Gin".

As Kiss On Fire could reveal already November 23rd, Kiss are confirmed for the Rock Am Ring / Rock Im Park festivals in Germany. Kiss will perform June 4th at Rock Am Ring and June 5th at Rock Im Park.
Ace Frehley was the guest at the top-rated Swedish TV show "Robins" this Saturday (December 5th). Although nothing spectacular came out of it, this was still a nice interview. Watch it here:

There has been a lot of problems and confusion regarding the video for the Kiss song "Modern Day Delilah". This was shown and Scuzz TV but it was taken off the net. The video was also removed from Youtube. Now this version without sound is available on Youtube.
The German TV show "Heute Leute" (meaning "Today's People") did an interview with Kiss at the show in Anaheim. As always on German TV, the answers are dubbed. But I know that much German to tell you that the answers are the usual ones...
