The problems regarding the release of the ”Authorized Bootleg” continue. The first scheduled release date was May 26th. This was later changed to June 30th. That’s today’s date and now there seems to be no confirmed release date at all. At Amazon (find link below) it now says December 31st 2020 as release date…

A pair of the tickets from Kiss / Blue Oyster Cult concert at Michigan Concert Palace in Detroit is up for sale at Ebay. This show took place April 12th 1974 and it's considered a classic Kiss show. Kissonline reports that the Paul Stanley DVD "One Live Kiss" has been awarded with the special classic gold award at the 30th annual Telly Awards. I have actually not heard about the Telly Awards before but great to hear that "One Live Kiss" received an award, it truly is an amazing DVD.

Gene Simmons has updated his Facebook page with the following comment about Michael Jackson:

Gotten a lot of questions from media and from quite a lot of you Re: Michael Jackson.I have refused all media requests for interviews. There are enough people in the industry being quoted. Some altruistically, some for media coverage.Either way...When I was going out with Diana Ross in the early 80's, I met Michael a few times through her. We spent social time together.Found him to be gentle, charming...obviously very talented. And that was that.The Michael of later years is someone I didn't recognize...nor like very much.When there are children involved...when there are allegations (many) of child molestation...when there are admissions of inviting countless young boys to spend weekends and sometimes Michael's bed with them (Michael's quote), clothed or unclothed...makes no difference...when there are payoffs to the children making the accusations in the $20,000,000 range ($20 Million Dollars!!! -- as reported by Media) ....There's more than doubt in my mind.This doesn't take into consideration Michael's children...none of whom are biologically his. All three of whom have had a "strange" upbringing. But then, we don't know much, except a "Father" who thought nothing of dangling his young child over the balcony (head covered in a towel), so his fans could get a thrill.So, what's my comment Re: Michael's passing? The Halloween Kiss Show In New Orleans Announced

As Kiss On Fire could reveal already in March (http://www.kissonfire.net/2009/03/kiss-to-play-in-new-orleans-this.html), Kiss will perform at the Voodoo Festival in New Orleans during the Halloween weekend. More Rumors Regarding The Upcoming Kiss Album

There are obviously a lot of rumors regarding the upcoming Kiss album. Most of the rumors are just speculations but some of them seem to be true. Even though it's not confirmed it seems like the title will be "360". Appearantly the album artwork (which will be done by Michael Doret) features a retro design with the four Kiss faces in a tapestry type design.
It is confirmed that "Rotten To The Core" and "Yeah" are two titles and that the album will feature eleven tracks.
Paul Stanley has produced the album and all four members will sing lead. All four members have also contributed to the song writing.
The album will exclusively sold via the Wal-Mart stores in North America. For the rest of the world, nothing is revealed yet.
There will most likely be a vinyl version of the album that NOT will be Wal-Mart exclusive.

Mega-Rare Eastern Germany Kiss Sampler On Ebay

I found a really interesting item on the German Ebay page. As you may know, Kiss was totally forbidden in the communist East Germany (DDR) during the 1970s and 1980s. No Kiss records was allowed at all in this country. But for some reason the song "I" from The Elder ended up on a promotional sampler issued by the state owned Amiga label. The Upcoming Kiss Album

It seems more and more likely that the upcoming Kiss album will be a Wal-Mart exclusive. The release date isn't confirmed but it will be in September in October. There are talks about doing one of the big late night talk shows the night before the release in order to raise the interest.

Paul Stanley Switches Off Analog TV

Last Friday (June 12th) Paul Stanley was the guest at the "Fox News" TV show at WCCB in Charlotte. During the visit there Paul helped the station with switching off their analog transmitter and by this starting the station to totally broadcast digitally. Watch this here:

Paul Stanley's "Live To Win" Album Helped Recovery After Serious Injury

The Claremount Courier reports a touching story about a guy who with the help of Paul Stanley's "Live To Win" album survived a serious head injury. While hearing Paul's music his blood pressure improved and the recovery went quicker. But that's not all. Claremount Courier writes the following:

After showing signs of improvement, Mr. Banks was transferred to Casa Colina in Pomona for rehabilitation and therapy. Mr. Stanley made a surprise visit to Mr. Banks after hearing the influence his music had in his recovery. Mr. Banks endured months of physical, occupational and speech therapy at Casa Colina and was able to relearn basic motor functions like walking and talking.
