Paul Stanley Confirms Kiss Will Enter The Studio Next Week

Yesterday (February 26th) Paul Stanley was interviewed by Fox Business Network. During the interview Paul confirmed that Kiss will enter the studio next week to record the upcoming studio album. The release is planned for the fall. Watch the interview here:

The Swedish audio vendor Hi-Fi Klubben does an advertising campaign with this picture of a person wearing Gene Simmons' make-up. As far as I know this campaign is not cleared with Kiss so if someone from the Kiss headquarters reads this the vendor might be in problems...

Eric Singer Project's European Tour Ended

The day before yesterday (February 22nd) Eric Singer Project did their last show on the European tour. This took place at Nosturi in Helsinki, Finland in front of 700 persons. The European tour has taken the band through Germany, Italy, Norway, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium and Czech Republic.

Kiss Kompendium Released In October

October 27th is the release date of the giant compilation of all Kiss comics. This will feature the adventures of the band's four superhero characters defeating evil with comic icons like Spiderman, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, the Hulk, and Wolverine. This compilation is reported to include 1280 pages! The book can be pre-ordered here:

35 Years Ago Today

Today is February 18th 2009. This means it's exactly 35 years ago since Kiss' debut album was released. The album simply called "Kiss" was released February 18th 1974. Let's celebrate this by playing the album nonstop all day!

More Details Regarding The Kiss Show In Santiago, Chile

As mentioned before, Kiss will play in Santiago, Chile April 3rd. The Chilean newspaper El Mercurio has now confirmed that the event is Pepsi Fest and that it will take place at Movistar Arena. New Comment From Gene Regarding The Upcoming Kiss Album

Deuce News (http://deucenews.jimdo.com) has posted the following quote from an interview with Gene Simmons made by the Argentinian newspaper Pagina 12:

We are making a new album produced by Paul, because I do not have the patience to get into a studio and stay there for six months. Who better than Paul for that? The idea is to make the record quickly, like we did at the time of Destroyer, Rock And Roll Over and Love Gun. But we must be prepared, so we are now working on songs when we have time. Maybe in March we will go in a studio and recorded two or three songs. The idea is to work well, little by little, we can not spend too much time in the studio, it has to be fast.

Kiss Fan Fired For Wearing Kiss T-Shirt

The Belgian newspaper Het Belang Van Limburg reports that 20 year old Kiss fan Yannick Houbben has lost his job because he wore a Kiss T-shirt. He works at a kindergarten and a father to one of the kids had made complaints about the T-shirt. Yannick Houbben will now sue the kindergarten. There seems to be some confusion regarding the upcoming Kiss show in Lima, Peru. The correct date seems to be April 15th. That would mean that the tour now looks like this:

More Shows Added To The Kiss South American Tour

It seems like a show in Lima (Peru) has been added to the South American tour. That would mean that the tour looks like this:

Kiss Show In Halifax Made Official

As mentioned several times before, Kiss will play in Halifax, Nova Scotia (Canada) July 18th as part of the "Halifax Rocks 2009". Kissonline has now made the show official. Tickets will be released on Thursday (February 5th). Kiss Army members can buy tickets already today (Tuesday).
