The Red Japanese Kiss - The Originals Box Set On Ebay

1999 saw the release of the vinyl LP box set "Originals" in Japan. A very low amount were made as a red box instead of the black box. One of these rare boxes is now available on Ebay. The box contains the first 9 albums in colored vinyl. booklet, stickers, poster etc. Definately a really nice item! Check the auction out here:

Another Kiss Sighting In Swedish TV

During yesterday's (January 28th) episode of the reality show "Made In Sweden" (shown on the national Swedish channel 4) a visit was made to song writer Andreas Carlsson's Los Angeles home. Andreas then showed the Paul Stanley painting "Green Planet" as well as framed photos with and Kiss in make-up and a photo of him together with Paul, Erin and Desmond Child.
Andreas Carlsson co-wrote four of the songs for Paul Stanley's "Live To Win" album.

New Kiss Book Released In February

During February a new 112 page Kiss will be released. The title is "I Wanna Rock And Roll All Night" (not spelled "Nite"). The publisher's description looks like this:

1974 Backstage Passes On Ebay - Real Or Fake?

I found on Ebay a set of backstage passes from 1974. What's weird is that they are pinbacked and look more like pins than passes. I'm not sure if these are real or fake, they definately look a bit weird. But the seller seems to be a serious company so I'm not really sure. I've never seen anything like this before. Gene Simmons Does Dr. Pepper Commercial

Gene Simmons has recently done a shooting of a commercial for Dr. Pepper. This is a part of Dr. Pepper's "Trust me, I'm a doctor" campaign . Gene would then be Dr. Love, of course. Gene's son Nick is also said to be included in the commercial.
Dr. Pepper has previously used other fictional doctors such as Kelsey Grammer (Dr. Frasier Crane) and Julius Erving (Dr. J).

Gene Simmons Moneybag Launch Party

Tomorrow (January 28th) Gene Simmons will host a launch party for his new clothing line "Moneybag". This will take place at The Hard Rock Hotel And Casino in Las Vegas.

As mentioned here last week, there are two Kiss shows in Brazil confirmed. There are a lot of rumors regarding more shows. As it looks now, the following should be the schedule:

April 3rd: Santiago
April 5th: Buenos Aires
April 7th: Sao Paulo
April 8th: Rio de Janeiro

Kiss Shows In Brazil April 2009 Confirmed

It is now confirmed that Kiss will play the following shows in Brazil:

April 7th: Sao Paulo, Arena Anhembi
April 8th: Rio De Janeiro, Praca De Apoteose

Tickets will be released February 11th.

As mentioned before, Kiss will headline the Quilmes Rock Festival in Argentina April 5th.

Court Dismisses Lawsuit Against Family Jewels

Metropolitan News reports that The District's Court Of Appeal on January 20th dismissed a lawsuit against Gene Simmons' Family Jewels. The lawsuit was made by a man who was filmed in New Orleans while speaking to Gene. The man was aware of the fact that he was being filmed and he even wore a microphone.
