Today is February 18th 2009. This means it's exactly 35 years ago since Kiss' debut album was released. The album simply called "Kiss" was released February 18th 1974. Let's celebrate this by playing the album nonstop all day!

Better check your dates. February 8, 1974 is the correct release date. Try Page 29 of KISS Alive Forever, last paragraph under the February 8, 1974 entry. February 8 is also listed in Behind the Mask.

Thanks to both of you for your comments regarding the release date. I’m not saying you are wrong but several other sources (such as Kissonline, Kissfaq, Kissotaku and Wikipedia etc) claim that February 18th is the correct date. I was four years old when it came out so I don't remember! :-)
