More Dates On Kiss South American Tour?

There are some rumors regarding the upcoming Kiss shows in South America. Shows are usually confirmed very late in this region so it's no surprise that all shows aren't made official yet. It seems like there will be a show in Bogota, Colombia April 11th. That would mean that the tour looks like this:

April 3rd: Santiago, Chile
April 5th: Buenos Aires, Argentina
April 7th: Sao Paulo, Brazil
April 8th: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
April 11th: Bogota, Colombia
April 14th: Lima, Peru
April 17th: Caracas, Venezuela

Kiss Song To Be Performed In Swedish Church

The Österled Church in the small Swedish town Karlskoga will on May 14th arrange a choir mass where some different songs will be sung. One of these will be the Kiss hit "Heaven's On Fire".
The cantor Jan-Kenneth Ronning says to the the local newspaper Karlskoga Kuriren: "Heaven's On Fire is a song that is perfect to perform with a choir".

Kiss Billboard In Argentina

The Argentian site Kissteria (http://www.kissteria.wordpress.com/) has sent this photo of a giant poster promoting the upcoming Kiss show in Buenos Aires. Gene Simmons also made the front cover of the Argentinian version of Rolling Stone Magazine so it seems like Kiss mania is happening in Argentina now!

"Authorized Bootleg" Released In May

Rumor has it that Mercury Records will release a Kiss CD in the series "Authorized Bootleg" in late May. This is said to feature the show from Nashville Municipal Auditorium that was played February 9th 1988. I will get back with more details as soon as I get hold of this.

Kiss Dynasty Tribute In The Works

Next year it will be 30 years since the release of Dynasty. A Dynasty tribute album will be produced in order to celebrate this. This will be released digitally in August this year. The following artists will participate in this tribute:

Gene Simmons Box Set To Be Released Later This Year?

According to a posting on Gene Simmons' webpage (as an answer to a fan letter) Gene says the following:

This year, I plan on releasing 'ALTER EGO", a box set of unreleased songs...about 150 of em.

Kiss Logo On The Placards Of Scandianvia’s Biggest Newspaper

Swedish celebrity Laila Bagge performed this weekend at the Swedish version of Dancing With The Stars (for some reason called ”Let’s Dance” in Sweden). Laila’s dress was made out of logos and pictures of artists like Kiss, Metallica and Iron Maiden. After their performance Laila chose to show her panties and as you can see the Kiss logo was printed on the panties. This made the headlines and on these pictures you can see the placards of Aftonbladet (Scandinavia’s biggest newspaper) and GT. It must have been a very long time since the Kiss logo were featured on the billboards of major newspapers!
